The majority of the content can be found in the audio. I do want to say, however, that this is an extremely summarized account. Deciding what to mention and what to leave out has been extremely difficult and I have been trying very hard to not re-record the whole thing. Since I do not have the time to do it, here it is.
But there are a few things I would like to clarify.
I mention that my father was a pastor at the time of my birth. He is a pastor currently as well, but there were a number of years in between when he took some time away from full time paid ministry and worked with business.
My grandfather retired as a pastor and I have two uncles who are in full time ministry. My father's brother and the husband of my mom's sister.
The campus ministry I mentioned working with while I was in Edinburg really began while I was in Weslaco and was the brain child of Pr. Gabriel Perea who was there before me. It became an official ministry during my time in Weslaco and I helped nurture its beginning driving from Weslaco to Edinburg twice a week every week, but was set up by Pr. Perea and Javier Maldonado, the first student president of the club/ministry.
The senior Pastor I worked under when pastoring in Edinburg, TX was Pr. Peter Weber, a godly man I highly respect and admire.
Blessed by The Thousands
Another title for this post could have been "Blessed by the thousands!" (Borrowed from an old blog by Kessia Reyne Bennett) There have been challenges and difficulties in my life. But looking back I believe the blessings have far outweighed the challenges. In my experience things have always turned out for the best and as I mentioned in the audio, I am looking forward to what God has in store for the future!
