Followers of Jesus are not to feel detached from the perishing world around them. We are called to make a difference.
Whatever our work may be, we can honor God by doing it well, wholeheartedly, and cheerfully. However, when we fail to use our talents, when we bury what God gave us, we lose it.
Character is not transferrable. It must be developed personally by the influence and power of the Holy Spirit.
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
